Studio Balkandji was founded back in 1998 by Kiril Yanev. In 2008 the studio moved to a new facility located in Reduta, Sofia – Studio A. Right after its official opening the new studio marked several emblematic productions among which are Concha Buika’s concert at Hall 1 of National Palace of Culture, Vakali’s Drum and Dance performance at Hall 1 of National Palace of Culture, the operas Tosca, Rigoletto and The Tales of Hoffmann, Yuvigi’s full-length albums Grey Desert and From First Person Point of View, and all Balkandji albums.
